Boróka Biró is a Bucharest based emerging cinematographer, alumna of The National Film and Television School “I.L. Caragiale” of Bucharest with MA degree, Berlinale Talents 2021 and Sarajevo Talents 2017. She attended many international filmmaking workshops (Nisi Masa Workshops, Slow Film Super8 Workshop, Filmtett) and international masterclasses like ASC Masterclass 2022, Imago Inspiration Masterclasses and Camerimage Festivals. Boróka Biró received a special mention for cinematography as part of the Authors under 40 Award dedicated to the director Valentina Pedicini at the 81st Venice Film Festival, in 2024 for The New Year That Never Came by Bogdan Muresanu.
